KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The 6 Storm Team says a warming trend begins Friday. Highs will be in the low 60s with a slight chance for an isolated shower.
Friday night is very mild with lows in the lower 50s. Saturday is even warmer. Highs will be near 70 degrees, however watch out for some hit or miss showers.
On Sunday, a line of heavier rain arrives during the morning hours. We may even have a few thunderstorms with high wind. It's an 80 percent coverage, but right now, most of it looks to sweep out after the lunch hour.
Once the rain moves out, colder air arrives. It won't be a white Christmas, but highs cool back into the 40s for early next week with sun.
