KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knox County Schools security officer was placed on administrative leave after being cited for indecent exposure Friday.

Schools spokesperson Melissa Ogden says Dennis C. Murphy was placed on leave with pay pending an investigation into the citation.

Murphy was not on duty at the time of the alleged incident.

He has been a school security guard since 2005 and is listed as a security officer on Beaumont Elementary's website.
