ASHLAND, Ky. (AP) - Two people from northeastern Kentucky have been arrested after they appeared on a reality television show that focuses on people addicted to drugs.

Kentucky State Police charged 26-year-old Courtney J. Howard of Grayson and charged her with possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a minor and theft by unlawful taking. Troopers also charged 33-year-old David Robert Nickell on Dec. 20 with trafficking in a controlled substance.

Troopers say the pair appeared on an episode of True Life: I'm addicted to Pills which aired on Dec. 9th on MTV.

The following day, the Carter County Attorney's Office notified troopers about possible legal violations by the pair.

Howard and Nickell were being held in the Carter County Jail. Jail records did not list an attorney for either.
