Skier rushed to hospital after accident at Ober


GATLINBURG (WATE) - According to officials at Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, a skier was injured on New Year's Eve around 7 p.m.

According to the Gatlinburg Fire Department, the skier was transported to UT Medical Center via LIFESTAR after a fall that occurred on the slopes.

An Ober spokesperson told 6 News the skier is believed to have a bad leg laceration.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.  No additional information has been released.
