SEYMOUR (WATE) - A garage and several vehicles went up in flames late Wednesday night in Seymour.

The blaze broke out in the 6400 block of Nails Creek road. Neighbor Brad Lowe said he heard an explosion and came out of his home to find buildings and cars at his neighbors home engulfed in flames.

Homeowner Keith Bentley, a contractor, says he and his wife were going to sleep Wednesday night when they heard the explosion. His car port and several vehicles containing paint and painting supplies caught fire.

Bentley says he believes an electrical fire caused the blaze, but the incident is still under investigation.

Thankfully, no one was injured during the fire and the Bentley's house was not damaged.

Firefighters from Blount County and Seymour responded to the blaze.
