KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knox County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect accused of robbing a West Knox County convenience store at knife point early Thursday morning.

Deputies say the suspect entered the Bread Box, 1606 Lovell Road, around 3:30 a.m. and went behind the sales counter.

The clerk said the suspect had a large fixed-blade knife and demanded all the cash from the register.

He got away with cash and was last seen walking north on Lovell Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, standing 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds.

He was unshaven with dark brown facial hair. The suspect was wearing a dark-colored wool hat with a white stripe; a green, gray and blue plaid flannel-type hooded jacket; blue jeans; and black athletic shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the KCSO at (865) 215-2243.
