KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Arctic high pressure takes control tonight providing some breaks in the clouds along with record breaking cold. 

The record low for Knoxville is 6°.  Our forecast low is 2°. Wind chill readings will be at or below zero tonight and the first part of Tuesday. 

After highs only in the teens Tuesday, a south breeze pushes warmer air our direction pushing highs in the 30's Wednesday and the 50's by the end of the week.
