KNOXVILLE (WATE) - We already broke our morning low record for this date in history which was 6 degrees set in 1970, and we are on track to also break our record high temperature for this date in history.
The old record was 26 degrees, and our forecast high today is 17 degrees. Lows tonight dip to 11 degrees, but we will not have the biting wind chill that we had last night.
On Wednesday, our afternoon temperatures finally warm to above freezing. We'll make it to 39 degrees. Thursday brings highs in the upper 40s, and then we are in the mid 50s for the weekend.
