KNOXVILLE (WATE) - With temperatures remaining below freezing, the Knoxville-Knox County Office on Aging is asking the community for help for the city's seniors.

The office is asking the public for donations of personal heaters to distribute to area seniors as the deep freeze continues.

"The interesting thing is Knoxville is sold out of heaters at this point. People have been generous, giving us some donations, but we cant even buy the heaters right now. We're looking everywhere we can, so we're asking if anybody has heaters to donate."

If you have a personal heater to donate, you can call the Office on Aging at (865) 524-2786, or you can stop by the Knoxville-Knox County CAC building on Western Avenue.
