Newport police ask for help in finding teen runaway boys

NEWPORT (WATE) - The Newport Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating two teenage runaways.

Derek James Williams, 17, is 5 feet 5 inches in height and weighs 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Micah Lee LeMaster, 14, is 5 feet 6 inches in height and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing Khaki pants, a black Under Armour jacket and a Miami Heat cap.

The boys left home on December 31 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., taking personal items from their homes. They are thought to be traveling together.

Police say the boys are thought to either be hiding with relatives or to have fled to Knoxville or to Kentucky.

Anyone with information on the boys' whereabouts are asked to call the Newport Police Department Central Dispatch at (423) 623-8777.
