A suspect has been arrested in the November assault and robbery of three South Doyle students at their bus stop. A suspect has been arrested in the November assault and robbery of three South Doyle students at their bus stop.

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police say they have arrested one suspect wanted for assaulting three South Doyle High School students at their bus stop and stealing their backpacks in November.

Investigators obtained three warrants for one of the suspect wanted in the case on Dec. 17.

Police say laptops in the backpacks were sold through an ad on Craigslist within hours of the theft and have since been recovered.

Officers located suspect Timothy Peck, 19, during a traffic stop on Dec. 20. He has been charged with two counts of robbery. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 16.

Investigators are still working to identify the second suspect.
