ROGERSVILLE (WATE) - A Hawkins County nursing home was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after some pipes burst causing part of the ceiling to collapse.

Hawkins County Emergency Management Agency Director Gary Murrell says the agency worked to evacuate Signature Healthcare nursing home in Rogersville.

There are no reports of injuries.

Some patients are being taken to a local hospital.

Crews are also doing repair work at Church Hill Health Care and Rehab. Officials say a water main broke Tuesday afternoon causing ceiling tiles to fall in two to three rooms.

Officials shut the water off and are bringing in bottled water for patients. So far, they do not plan any evacuations.
