ALCOA (WATE) - Two suspects wanted in an armed robbery that happened in an Alcoa McDonald's parking lot early Sunday morning have been arrested.

Alcoa police say Jerrell Lee Bledsoe, 19, and Jelyn Marquis Haley, 19, are being held on $75,000 bond.

Officers responded to McDonald's, 2929 Old Knoxville Highway, in the early morning hours of January 12 for a report of an armed robbery.

The store manager said he was walking to his vehicle with the deposit when one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the manager and demanded the deposit.

During the incident, the gun fired and struck the manager's boot. He was not hurt.

Detectives responded and further investigation revealed Haley and Bledsoe were involved. They were arrested on Friday.
