Endangered Child Alert canceled for missing Maynardville boy

MAYNARDVILLE (WATE) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has canceled its Endangered Child Alert in regard to a missing Maynardville boy.

On Sunday, Jan. 19, it was discovered that 15-year-old Nicholas Andrew Rymer was missing from his residence in Maynardville. Officials say he was safely located Sunday around 4 p.m.

According to the Maynardville Police Department, Rymer stole his dad's 2000 black Nissan Maxima and was believed to be traveling in that vehicle. 

No additional details have been released about his condition or where Rymer was found.
