Monday: Plenty of sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures. High: 54°.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, windy and colder with scattered light snow or flurries (40% coverage). Temperatures fall from morning levels in the mid 30s through the day.
we saw a rare, dry weekend with sunshine and just slightly below temperatures.
The dry and sunny trend will continue for one more day, as Monday looks nice
with highs warming into the low-mid 50s, which is about 5°-8° above average for
this time of year.
Don't get used to it though, because yet another clipper system rolls through Monday night into Tuesday. It will bring some more
scattered light snow showers/flurries, especially to the higher elevation
areas, but everyone will see another shot of colder air.
This batch looks like
it will stick around through the rest of the week, with some areas not climbing
above the freezing mark from Tuesday all the way Friday.
The upcoming weekend
looks dry for now, with some slowly moderating temperatures.
