KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The trial of the Knox County man accused of shooting and killing three women is now underway.

Paul Moore is accused of shooting and killing his wife Christina Moore, her twin sister Bridgett Stagnolia, along with another woman, Amber Snellings in an apartment on Old Clinton Pike in May 2012.

Jury selection got underway Tuesday morning before wrapping up in the afternoon. Opening statements were made a short time later.

When initially questioned by investigators, officials say Moore admitted to shooting his wife, but said he did not remember shooting the other two women.

He is charged with three counts of first-degree murder and remains in the Knox County Jail on a $1.5 million bond.
