Deep freeze continues Thursday


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The high elevations are under a Wind Chill Advisory from now until Friday at 11 a.m. EST. Wind chill temps will be below zero for much of the time.

The valley isn't under an advisory at this time, but it is still extremely cold. Highs today in the mid 20s with a few flurries at times.

Tonight is the coldest night of this cold snap with lows in the single digits area-wide!

Friday isn't any better. Highs will remain in the mid 20s with a light breeze.

Saturday morning begins in the teens with light snow showers. We finally warm to above freezing by Saturday afternoon, but we will still have a brisk wind. Saturday's high is 39.

Sunday looks better with sunshine and a high of 45.
