KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knoxville Utilities Board is repairing a water main break in the Fort Sanders neighborhood early Thursday morning.

KUB says it happened around 5:45 a.m. at Laurel Avenue and 21st Street, which is near the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.

As of 8:30 a.m., KUB said 21st Street at Laurel Avenue would be closed to make repairs.

Water from the break turned to ice on the streets, so proceed with caution in the area.
