Weekend starts nice, more winter weather expected Sunday night

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - It will be a very nice start to the weekend with a few clouds around tonight and temperatures not far below freezing. 

A warmer day with more melting expected Saturday with highs in the 50's followed by rain chances on and off Super Bowl Sunday

BIG CHANGES start to take place late Sunday night as a round of WINTER PRECIPITATION develops. Most of the threat will be from I-40 to the north.

Rain, Freezing Rain and Snow will all be possible depending on how far and deep the cold air moves.  We will keep you updated through the weekend.
