HAWKINS COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -

A local high school that has seen six students pass away this school year will hold a prayer walk tonight.

The walk was organized by the father of Peyton Flanary, a Volunteer High School student who died in a car crash on Lynn Garden Drive in Kingsport in December.

Community members will gather at Volunteer High School at 6 p-m, to honor the students and a teacher who have passed on by praying for their families and friends.

More than a week ago,
Volunteer High School lost two students in a car crash, William "Billy" Nauert and Lacota Allison, both just 18 years old. A driver survived in that accident.
