Plane crashes at Bellevue YMCA, 4 killed

BELLEVUE (WKRN) - Four people were killed after a plane crashed Monday afternoon at the YMCA on Highway 100 in Bellevue.

It happened right next to the building, just outside the pool area, around 5 p.m.

The aircraft, a Gulfstream 690C, is registered to Mid-Kansas Agriculture Company in Pawnee Rock, Kansas Flight Aware reported.

According to the FAA, the flight departed Great Bend Municipal Airport in Great Bend, Kansas and was en route to John C. Tune Airport in Nashville when the crash occurred.

Four people were on board the plane at the time and have all been pronounced dead. Their identities were not immediately known.

Members inside the gym at the time of the fiery crash were evacuated as a safety precaution.

The FAA is en route to the scene.
