KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Tuesday starts dry, but rain arrives for the late afternoon and evening. Also, the wind will pick up.
Our mountains go under a High Wind Warning at 4 p.m. with winds in excess of 60mph. Rain and wind continue overnight tonight, and we may even have a stray thunderstorm.
The low is 44, but on Wednesday temperatures fall as we dry out. We may even see some flurries in the valley and light mountain snow showers before the moisture moves out of here.
By Wednesday afternoon, temps will be in the upper 30s. Overnight Wednesday is colder with lows in the upper 20s.
Thursday is dry, but another system arrives for the weekend.
Rain on Saturday night looks to change into snow by Sunday morning and continue into Sunday afternoon. We'll continue to watch it all week as these winter systems can change quickly.
