LAFOLLETTE (WATE) - Two juveniles are in custody after allegedly robbing a Dollar General in Campbell County.

According to the LaFollette Police Department, the two teens walked into the store around 9:30 p.m. on Monday wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks over their face.

Police say one of the teens was armed with what at first appeared to be a semi-automatic handgun. Officials say it was later revealed to be an air-soft gun.

Authorities say the other teen was armed with a large hunting knife.

With the assistance of the Campbell County Sheriff's Department, LaFollette police were able to canvas the area.

Authorities were able to take them into custody after receiving new information about the robbery.

Detectives were able to recover both the money taken and the weapons allegedly used in the robbery.
