KNOXVILLE (WATE) - After morning rain, temperatures fall Wednesday afternoon. We begin the day at near 50, but fall to around 40 by 5 p.m. Most of the afternoon is dry, however as temps fall the cold air could squeeze out some valley drizzle and mountain flurries.
Tonight is dry, but much colder. Lows dip into the upper 20s.
Thursday and Friday both look dry with highs around 40.
The weekend forecast now looks drier than previous forecasts, with a 30 to 40 percent chance of scattered rain/snow mix on both Saturday and Sunday. It does not look like a major system, but we'll keep you posted if anything changes.
TODAY: A.M. Rain. Temps falling to 40 by 4pm. Breezy.
