UT lands highly rated recruiting class on Signing Day
KNOXVILLE (WATE) - University of Tennessee Head Football Coach Butch Jones landed Wednesday a highly rated recruiting class that some are calling one of the school's best ever.
The Vols added 19 signees Wednesday to the 14 who enrolled early.
The new class includes twins Elliott Berry and Evan Berry, the younger brothers of former Vol and All-American Eric Berry and the sons of former Vol James Berry.
In-state recruits included Knoxville native Todd Kelly, Jr., son of former Vol Todd Kelly; Brighton lineman Charles Mosley; Marshall County kicker Aaron Medley; Ensworth DL Michael Sawyers; Brentwood defensive end Derek Barnett; and Montgomery Bell's Jashon Robertson.
This will be Butch Jones' second season at the helm of the Vols football team. His first season ended with a 5-7 record, a fourth straight losing season.
