The three have also been charged with three counts each of felony child neglect and abuse due to "their alleged lack of care of the three other children " living at the house when the infant died.

William Daniel Slagle, Heather Deann Ruley, and Patricia Tyree Ruley were arrested today and are being held in the Rockbridge Regional Jail. William Slagle's bond was denied, bond was set at $25,000 for Heather Ruley and $10,000 for Patricia Ruley. Their arraignment will take place on Monday.
