KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Three women, members of a cleaning crew who were fighting to get their paychecks from a local janitorial company, have finally been paid.

Karla Hood, her supervisor Danielle Parker and her coworker Lizabeth Hutchins stopped working for local independent cleaning service Lancaster and Sons on January 26.

The company has janitorial crews at two Belk stores in Knoxville.

The women worked part time, seven days a week, three to four hours a day. They received paychecks in the middle and end of December, but none since. They say they were supposed to be paid on January 15.

The women had told 6 On Your Side they had run out of options by the time they called us.

They have now received their missing paychecks.
