KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Three adults and three children are without a home after their South Knoxville house went up in flames Tuesday morning.

The Knoxville Fire Department says the blaze happened around 2 a.m. at a single-story house located on the 4300 block of Woodlawn Pike.

Officials say neighbors called in the fire after seeing flames shooting from the house.

By the time firefighters arrived on scene, the family had already made it out of the home.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, and no injuries have been reported at this time.

The Red Cross is assisting the family with their needs.
