ENGLEWOOD (WATE) - With Valentine's Day on Friday, all this snow is adding to an already busy time for local florists.

Now, they have to contend with how to make their deliveries.

After his shop burned in Madisonville two years ago the night before Valentine's Day, owner Wendell Beck moved his business to Englewood, which is just over the Monroe County line into McMinn County.

He says his customers have been very loyal. He has lots of Valentine's Day orders this year, but as the snow starts to pile up, he's beginning to wonder if maybe if he's under some sort of Valentine's Day curse.

"Well, I just don't know what it's going to do. The weather always seems like it shows out on Valentine's Day every year. We're planning on delivering, but we may have to take them on a tractor," Beck said with a laugh.

Beck's Florist says they are still taking orders for Valentine's Day. The owner says he will do whatever is necessary to get those orders delivered.
