ATHENS (WATE) - The owner of a winery in McMinn County is dead and two teenagers wounded, after a shooting there.        

McMinn County Sheriff, Joe Guy says his office is investigating the scene, where a homicide and possible suicide occurred.      

Guy says Stanley Striker, the owner of Striker Winery, was killed in the shooting. Two of his teenage children were also shot and were taken to a hospital.      

The Sheriff tells us the TBI and local District Attorney are processing the crime scene and are investigating the incident as a homicide and possible suicide.        

Striker Winery has seen its share of troubles. It caught fire in 2012, damaging most building. Also, in 2000, Patty Striker, the wife of the man killed Wednesday, was found shot to death. That case has never been solved.
