KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The area of low pressure that brought the snow to the area last night will continue to lift off to the NE today taking our snow chances with it.

Drier air this afternoon may allow some sunshine to peek through helping with the melting process.  Snow lover or not, it is a beautiful scene across the region.

A mostly clear sky tonight will cause some refreezing so be careful on the roads.  Another weak disturbance arrives on Valentine's Day. Plan on clouds increasing with some showers later in the day.

Colder air will likely cause mixed precipitation then some snow showers Friday night before ending. A nice warm up is on the way next week.

Today: Flurries End. Late Sun: 39°

Tonight: Mostly Clear/Refreezing: 27°

Valentine's Day: Late Rain The Snow Showers: 43°

Saturday: Partly Cloudy: 46°

Sunday: Mainly Dry: 45°
