Low pressure moves out tonight, some snow showers possible Friday night

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The area of low pressure that brought the beautiful snow to East Tennessee has moved off to the northeast, allowing a clear sky to build in tonight.

There will be some slick spots in the morning, but highs in the 40's will melt what is left.

A quick moving cold front will increase our clouds late Valentine's Day. Light rain will likely develop tomorrow evening then mix with and change to snow showers before ending early Saturday. 

A WINTER STORM WATCH is posted Friday for the Smoky Mountains above 2500ft., where  three or more inches of snow are possible.  Isolated minor accumulations are possible in the valley.
