KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Vandalism at South Doyle High School in Knox County led to the spoilage of several dairy items in the school's cafeteria.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says a janitor noticed a power outage Monday morning and contacted the school resource officer. The officer found that several power breakers had been turned off and a breaker box had been opened.

The outage led to the spoilage of several items in the school's cafeteria. A Knox County Schools spokesperson says $64 worth of ice cream and $200 worth of milk was lost.

The spokesperson did not immediately know if the vandalism was caught on security camera.
