MORRISTOWN (WATE) - Hamblen County sheriff's deputies arrested two home burglary suspects Monday, saying they were caught red-handed.

Spencer Feezell and Crystal Lane are each charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property over $1,000.

Deputies say a citizen noticed strange activity on Hershey Drive Monday morning and called authorities.

At first, responding deputies didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. One hid his patrol car in the area and within moments, a man was seen running from the area. He ended up running directly to the other deputy's waiting patrol car.

Both Feezell and Lane were arrested after three duffel bags filled with property from the home were found in their possession.

Deputies soon learned that the home belonged to Lane's sister and the suspects had spent Sunday night. They they allegedly left the house in the morning, and then waited until they knew it would be vacant.

Items stolen include clothes, an Xbox and other household goods valued at approximately $1,400.

Both are being held at the Hamblen County Jail, each on $30,000 bond.
