KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Rain chances stay low tonight and through the day tomorrow as we wait on a cold front to arrive Thursday night.

A few isolated showers will be possible. Wind gusts ahead of the cold front could gust 40 to 60 mph causing some wind damage. The line of thunderstorms should reach the Knoxville area before midnight. I also expect a gradual weakening in the line as it approaches.

However, severe weather remains a threat region wide tomorrow.

Cooler and drier air arrive Sunday. Once the front passes, cooler and drier air will slide in.

TONIGHT: Slim Chance: 52°

THURSDAY: Spotty Rain/ Storms At Night: 72°

THURSDAY NIGHT: Storms Likely:  46°

FRIDAY: Light Rain Ends: 56°

SATURDAY: Sun & Clouds: 61°
