KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Thursday is warm and windy. Highs are in the low 70s with a gusty SW wind at 10 to 25mph, gusts up to 40mph. We have a 20% chance of a daytime shower, but most of the activity holds off until after 10 p.m. tonight.
These storms sweep through from west to east, and they will bring damaging wind, heavy rain and lightning. The main concern for our area is straight line wind, but an isolated tornado is possible.
Tonight's low is 46. After some early showers on Friday morning, we dry out for the rest of the weekend.
