KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two members of the University of Tennessee football team arrested on alcohol related charges appeared in court Thursday, with some of the charges to be dropped pending completion of court orders.

A resisting arrest charge will be dropped against former player Dontavius Sapp after six months and upon completion of payment of costs, 32 hours of community service and alcohol assessment. All other charges were dropped Thursday.

An underage consumption charge will be dropped against current player Daniel O'Brien after six months and upon completion of 40 hours of community service, payment of costs and alcohol assessment.

A.J. Johnson is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Sapp, O'Brien and Johnson were arrested on February 9 at a large party at Quarry Trail Apartments where sheriff's deputies found numerous underage persons drinking alcohol.

Several former and current players were also cited for underage consumption.
