KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Silver Spoon Cafe in West Knoxville is closing once again.

A spokesperson for the restaurant said Monday night will be their last night in their current location at 210 Lovell Road.

The spokesperson cited difficulties at the location that the restaurant has been unable to overcome.

Silver Spoon opened its Lovell Road location in June 2013 after being seized by the state the previous April because of a failure to pay state taxes.

Specialty Restaurant Group, based in Maryville, owns the restaurant. The group was founded by former employees of Ruby Tuesday. Owners say the recent closure is not related to taxes.

The spokesperson said the company is actively looking for a new location.
