Sevierville man offering rewards for capture of burglary suspect and return of stolen items

SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - The victim of a home burglary in Sevierville is offering rewards for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible and the return of nearly $50,000 worth of belongings.

Sevierville police say James McMahan told police his home was burglarized sometime between February 14 and February 17 while he was out of town.

The suspect apparently forced the front door open and stole collectable coins, jewelry and guns valued at $49,700.

McMahan is offering two rewards: $2,500 for the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary, and $2,500 for the return of the stolen items.
