Rollover crash injures 2 in west Nashville

Two people were injured after a crash led to a vehicle rolling over early Tuesday morning in west Nashville.

The accident occurred around 5:45 a.m. on Blakemore Avenue at the intersection of 24th Avenue South, just across the street from Vanderbilt University.

Two people were injured.  They are expected to be okay.

Preliminary reports indicate a pickup truck was driving toward West End Avenue when the gold sedan was crossing Blakemore on 24th Avenue.

The sedan hit the truck, causing it to rollover and skid down the roadway.

Traffic was directed through a detour while crews clear the scene.
