SEYMOUR (WATE) - Firefighters were busy putting out an early morning fire Thursday in Knox County.

The blaze broke out around 4:30 a.m. on the 7400 block of Lunaria Road in Seymour.

The homeowners told 6 News they woke up to smoke pouring out of the upstairs area.

They grabbed some of their belongings and got out right away.

Several fire departments helped extinguish the flames, including Rural/Metro crews.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.  No injuries have been reported at this time.
