ANDERSON COUNTY (WATE) - Friday, Feb. 28, two ring leaders of a meth making conspiracy were handed down their lengthy sentences after a ruling in July of 2013.

Lawrence "Stoney" Scriver was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Investigators say he was the leader of a conspiracy that produced about 1500 grams of methamphetamine.

Also included in the proceedings on Friday, Jeffrey Scott Braden was sentenced to a minimum mandatory life sentence after violating parole for making and distributing meth.
