KNOXVILLE (WATE) - No injuries were reported in a four-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 40 involving a state trooper.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says Trooper Adam Bowman had pulled over a 2007 Dodge Charger driven by Nathan Tabuena for a moving violation on I-40 eastbound near Midway Road just before 2 p.m.

Trooper Bowman had just returned to his vehicle when Osmond E. Robinson, II failed to move over in his Toyota Camry until the last minute, abruptly striking a tractor trailer driven by Efrain A. Villafuerte. The impact threw the Toyota into the trooper's car on the shoulder.

Robinson was cited for failure to move over for an emergency vehicle and charged with improper turning movements.

Tabuena was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of the initial traffic stop. He was also issued a warning for speeding.
