DECATURVILLE (WKRN/WATE) - The man charged in the disappearance and presumed death of missing nursing student Holly Bobo was arraigned in a Decatur County courtroom Tuesday afternoon.

Zachary Adams, 29, was indicted last Wednesday on charges of especially aggravated kidnapping and first degree felony murder.

His attorney pleaded not guilty on his behalf.

The weekend prior, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation searched Adams' home in Holladay, Tennessee, approximately 15 miles north of Bobo's home on Swan Johnson Road outside Parsons, about 100 miles west of Nashville.

Bobo disappeared from that home on the morning of April 13, 2011.

Officials stated they found evidence that proves Bobo was taken forcibly and killed as a result of that kidnapping.

Authorities have not reported whether or not they found her body.

Adams arrived to the Decatur County Courthouse just after 12:30 p.m. Security was tight and he was wearing a bulletproof vest.

The Bobo family arrived about an hour later. They declined to comment on the case.

An April 9 status hearing was set for Adams.
