CHURCH HILL (WATE) - A Hawkins County woman has died after being shot in the head by her live-in boyfriend who then shot and killed himself.

Deputies were called to a home at 111 California Avenue in Church Hill around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

They found Sierra Nichole Smith, 21, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Thomas Kirk McCracken, 20, was found dead, also with a single gunshot wound to the head.
