Stores in Nashville shut down for selling shots containing opiates

Posted:

NASHVILLE (WATE) - Tennessee authorities shut down three businesses for selling "relaxation shots."

The focus of the bust was convenience stores in Nashville. Police say the shots contain illegal opiates.

The shots go by names like "Viva Zen" and "Mister Smiley Euphoria Party Shot." Tennessee banned relaxation shots two years ago.

Investigators say they want to make sure that teenagers and young adults aren't buying products that may have dangerous ingredients in them.
