Emergency crews stand by at McGhee-Tyson for military plane reporting problems

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A military plane landed safely after reporting problems before landing Thursday night, according to a McGhee-Tyson Airport spokesperson.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at McGhee-Tyson Airport.

Becky Huckaby says emergency vehicles were standing by on an Alert 2 emergency.

The plane did land safely.
