Cat show to be held this weekend in Knoxville


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Over 40 breeds of cats will be on display at the Tennessee Valley Cat Fanciers CFA Cat Show this weekend in Knoxville.

Cats will compete in a number of categories including championship, kitten, premiership (neuter/spays) and Best in Show.

There is also a separate category for feline pets.

Young Williams Animal Center will also be on hand with some adoptable cats looking for new homes. Siamese Rescue and Stray Connection will also be on site to help with adoptions.

The event is Saturday, March 22 at the Jacob Building in Chilhowee Park. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.
