Travel tips for fans heading to Indy to watch the Vols play Michigan

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Vols are going to the Sweet 16, and if you want to take part in their next game, you better act fact.

UT will take on Michigan on Friday in Indianapolis. Here's a breakdown of what you'll need if you want to catch the action in person:

Airline tickets are averaging around $800 for a flight to Indianapolis leaving Friday and coming back on Saturday.

Of course, you can always drive. According to AAA, if you take a mid-sized sedan, you'll pay around $100 in gas, roundtrip.

Finding a hotel isn't hard as long as you don't mind staying at least 5 miles away from Lucas Oil Stadium. 6 News was able to find a few rooms for under $100.

Of course, the hardest part is actually scoring a ticket to the game.

Ticketmaster is already sold out, Stub Hub still has a few tickets, but the good seats may already be taken.

The nose bleed seats range from $150-300 dollars.
