LAFOLLETTE (WATE) - The second annual "Light the Night for Kate" has been postponed due to the cold weather.

Campbell County teenager Katelyn Norman lost her battle with cancer last year, but not before making a bucket list that got the attention of people around the world.

Going to prom was high on the list.

Katelyn was too sick to attend a special prom planned in her honor, but people lined the street with candles as a show of support.

Organizers of the event posted on Facebook that due to some unforeseen circumstances and the cold weather, the event will be rescheduled. A new date has not yet been set.
